💡 Explanation in a nutshell#
NTSC was the analog TV transmission standard used in North America and Japan. When you recorded on VHS, quality degraded due to visual artifacts: pixelation, color distortion, loss of detail. ntsc-rs recreates these flaws realistically — it’s not a pretty filter, but a precise emulation based on the physics of how the technology actually worked.
