🔭 SETI@home: 21 years of collective search for extraterrestrial life — and 100 signals worth a closer look.

For 21 years (1999–2020), millions of volunteers loaned their computers to UC Berkeley to analyze radio signals captured by the Arecibo Observatory. The result: 12 billion detections, eventually narrowed down to:
